Trust and transparency
HRHeaven editorial policy
How we produce practical UK employer information and keep it distinct from individual legal advice.
Purpose
Our Knowledge Centre helps UK employers understand common employment-document and workplace-process questions. It is written for practical orientation and does not replace advice on an individual dispute, dismissal, immigration issue or other fact-sensitive matter.
Sources
We prioritise current primary and authoritative sources, including GOV.UK, Acas and legislation.gov.uk. Each published guide and FAQ lists the principal sources used so readers can verify the underlying rule and check for later changes.
Review and updates
Content is checked by the HRHeaven Editorial Team for accuracy, clarity, source support and consistency with the product experience. The published and reviewed dates are shown on each article. Material is reviewed when official guidance changes and during scheduled content audits.
What editorial review means
An editorial review is not a solicitor review and we do not describe it as one. Where independent legal review has not taken place, the page says so through its legal-information disclaimer and avoids claiming legal approval.
Corrections
If you identify a possible error or an outdated source, please contact HRHeaven. We investigate material corrections and update the reviewed date when a substantive change is made.
