The Employee must perform Museum Shop Assistant (Retail) duties with reasonable skill, care and professionalism, including workflow coordination, document control, calendar and correspondence, data accuracy, service-request escalation, museum, shop, assistant. The Employee must follow the Employer's procedures, keep role records accurate, complete required checks or handovers, and ask for guidance where instructions, authority limits or risks are unclear.
The Employee must not disclose, copy, remove, misuse or access customer, till, payment, stock, supplier, security, rota, promotion and loss-prevention records except where authorised and necessary for proper museum shop assistant (retail) work. Any suspected loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure must be reported promptly.
The Employee must follow the museums & heritage operational controls that apply to museum shop assistant (retail) work, including stock control, tills, customer service, loss prevention, store security and shift handovers, accurate record keeping, escalation and safe working requirements.
The Employee must protect customer, till, payment, stock, supplier, security, rota, promotion and loss-prevention records, including any personal data, customer or client information, operational records, pricing, credentials, security information, business plans and role-specific records accessed while performing museum shop assistant (retail) duties.
