The Employee must perform Youth Worker duties with reasonable skill, care and professionalism, including Provide care or support in line with care plans, training, competence and delegated authority. Protect service-user or resident dignity, privacy, safeguarding and wellbeing. Maintain accurate care notes, medication support records, handover notes and incident records where applicable.
The Employee must not disclose, copy, remove, misuse or access care plans, medication records, service user information, safeguarding records, family communications except where authorised and necessary for proper youth worker work. Any suspected loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure must be reported promptly.
The Employee must follow the social care operational controls that apply to youth worker work, including CQC requirements where applicable, safeguarding, care planning, medication procedures, dignity and privacy, accurate record keeping, escalation and safe working requirements.
The Employee must protect care plans, medication records, service user information, safeguarding records, family communications and any related personal data, operational records, system access details or confidential information accessed while performing youth worker duties.
