Day-to-day operating brief
What Trader (Sportsbook) work looks like in practice
A Sportsbook Trader prices and manages assigned events or markets using data feeds, models and live information. Terms should cover sports, jurisdictions, margin, limits, liability, automated tools, suspensions, palpably incorrect prices, settlement, integrity alerts and personal betting. The trader exercises judgement within mandate but must not manipulate a market for a personal position, copy restricted information into informal channels or keep betting open when reliable event state is uncertain. Shift notes should identify thin-liquidity events, manual overrides and source feeds operating under degraded confidence. For abandoned, postponed or format-changed events, the trader should record the rule and authoritative status used for settlement so later customer queries are answered consistently rather than reconstructed from memory.
Individually written and reviewed against the maintained role record.
