The Employee must perform Support Staff (General) duties with reasonable skill, care and professionalism, including support staff (general) work planning, veterinary records, support staff (general) quality checks, veterinary escalation, support staff (general) stakeholder updates, support, staff, role duties. The Employee must follow the Employer's procedures, keep role records accurate, complete required checks or handovers, and ask for guidance where instructions, authority limits or risks are unclear.
The Employee must not disclose, copy, remove, misuse or access patient, clinical, prescription, treatment, appointment, medication, safeguarding and regulated health records except where authorised and necessary for proper support staff (general) work. Any suspected loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure must be reported promptly.
The Employee must follow the veterinary operational controls that apply to support staff (general) work, including patient safety, clinical records, consent procedures, medicines controls where authorised and incident reporting, accurate record keeping, escalation and safe working requirements.
The Employee must protect patient, clinical, prescription, treatment, appointment, medication, safeguarding and regulated health records, including any personal data, customer or client information, operational records, pricing, credentials, security information, business plans and role-specific records accessed while performing support staff (general) duties.
