Day-to-day operating brief
What Factory Cleaner work looks like in practice
A Factory Cleaner removes production residue from floors, structures and equipment in an industrial environment. Cleaning may occur during shutdowns or changeovers near machinery, vehicles and product-control zones. Terms should identify the factory areas, shift pattern, isolation boundaries, chemicals, pressure equipment, contamination standards and who releases machinery or a line back to production. Restart pressure is a recurring feature of this appointment. The shift record should show that guards, tools and residues were checked, that inaccessible areas were declared, and that production accepted any remaining limitation before energisation. Drain points, overhead surfaces and product-contact boundaries may require separate sign-off because they create different contamination and access evidence. Shift changeovers must identify plant that remains isolated, tagged or awaiting engineering review.
Individually written and reviewed against the maintained role record.
