Day-to-day operating brief
What Tributes Coordinator (Flowers) work looks like in practice
A Funeral Tributes Coordinator manages floral arrangements and other approved personal items used in the chapel, hearse or ceremony. Terms should cover orders, florist briefs, card wording, budgets, delivery windows, labelling, allergies, placement, transport, post-service destination and charitable donations where relevant. The coordinator should distinguish items supplied by the family from those purchased through the funeral provider and must not rewrite card messages or dispose of tributes without a recorded instruction. Vehicle loading should protect arrangements from crushing, water leakage and movement while keeping the coffin deck and driver's view clear. Card envelopes and keepsakes removed for travel should be reunited with the correct tribute before family viewing or placement at the venue. Wilted or unsafe displays require approval before substitution or removal.
Individually written and reviewed against the maintained role record.
