Day-to-day operating brief
What Roulette Dealer work looks like in practice
A Roulette Dealer operates a wheel and layout, accepts permitted bets, announces closure, identifies the result and settles winning and losing chips. Terms should cover wheel checks, ball and equipment, table limits, colour chips, call bets, markers, neighbour bets, payouts, game pace and disputed placements. The dealer must keep hands and announcements visible, avoid accepting late bets and protect the layout until any disputed outcome has been reviewed. Before opening, the wheel should be observed for obstruction, level concerns and unexpected ball behaviour without the dealer attempting unauthorised adjustment. At colour-chip cash-out, denomination and ownership should be confirmed while the table record still supports the exchange. Dolly placement should be confirmed before losing wagers are cleared. Announced call bets must be repeated clearly before closure. Neighbour, sector and racetrack wagers require unmistakable chip placement and verbal confirmation.
Individually written and reviewed against the maintained role record.
