The Employee must perform Heritage Consultant (Commercial) duties with reasonable skill, care and professionalism, including Assess patients, make clinical decisions and provide treatment, referral or follow-up within professional competence. Maintain accurate clinical records, prescribing records, referral information and correspondence in authorised systems. Prescribe, review or authorise medicines safely where the role permits and escalate medication or clinical concerns promptly.
The Employee must not disclose, copy, remove, misuse or access patient records, clinical notes, prescribing information, referral information, test results, special category health data except where authorised and necessary for proper heritage consultant (commercial) work. Any suspected loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure must be reported promptly.
The Employee must follow the museums & heritage operational controls that apply to heritage consultant (commercial) work, including GMC standards where applicable, clinical governance, patient safety, safeguarding escalation, data protection, accurate record keeping, escalation and safe working requirements.
The Employee must protect patient records, clinical notes, prescribing information, referral information, test results, special category health data and any related personal data, operational records, system access details or confidential information accessed while performing heritage consultant (commercial) duties.
