The Employee must perform Paediatric Physiotherapist (Children) duties with reasonable skill, care and professionalism, including Assess patients and deliver treatment, therapy, diagnostic or rehabilitation support within competence. Maintain accurate clinical notes, treatment plans, progress records and referral information. Use clinical equipment and systems safely where trained and authorised.
The Employee must not disclose, copy, remove, misuse or access patient records, clinical notes, assessment records, treatment plans, special category health data except where authorised and necessary for proper paediatric physiotherapist (children) work. Any suspected loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure must be reported promptly.
The Employee must follow the physiotherapy operational controls that apply to paediatric physiotherapist (children) work, including HCPC standards where applicable, clinical governance, patient safety, safeguarding escalation, data protection, accurate record keeping, escalation and safe working requirements.
The Employee must protect patient records, clinical notes, assessment records, treatment plans, special category health data and any related personal data, operational records, system access details or confidential information accessed while performing paediatric physiotherapist (children) duties.
