The Employee must perform Client Care Advisor (Pet Healthcare) duties with reasonable skill, care and professionalism, including Support patient care tasks only within training, competence and delegated authority. Assist with observations, personal care, mobility or treatment support where authorised. Maintain accurate patient care records, handover notes and incident information.
The Employee must not disclose, copy, remove, misuse or access patient records, care notes, observation records, safeguarding information, special category health data except where authorised and necessary for proper client care advisor (pet healthcare) work. Any suspected loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure must be reported promptly.
The Employee must follow the veterinary operational controls that apply to client care advisor (pet healthcare) work, including delegated clinical procedures, patient dignity, infection control, safeguarding escalation, data protection, accurate record keeping, escalation and safe working requirements.
The Employee must protect patient records, care notes, observation records, safeguarding information, special category health data and any related personal data, operational records, system access details or confidential information accessed while performing client care advisor (pet healthcare) duties.
