Responsibilities reflected in the contract

• Pick goods against scanner or order instructions.

A realistic working scenario

The scanner directs the employee to a product whose packaging and barcode differ from the order image. The associate pauses the item, checks the approved product record and raises an inventory exception rather than forcing the scan or sending an uncertain substitute.

• Obtain approval before committing expenditure, changing contractual commitments or making regulated or staffing decisions outside the assigned role.
