Day-to-day operating brief
What Trampoline Instructor (Rebound) work looks like in practice
A Rebound Instructor leads exercise on individual mini-trampolines rather than coaching competitive trampoline skills. Terms should define class format, equipment model and weight limits, leg and mat inspections, floor stability, spacing, mounting, balance options, music, capacity, cleaning, footwear, screening, first aid and clear exclusion of flips, aerial skills or therapeutic claims outside competence. Rebound fitness uses individual mini-trampolines and should not be confused with competitive trampoline coaching. The instructor needs to check frames, legs, mats and floor stability, establish enough clearance and show controlled mounting, balance and low-impact options. Terms can prohibit flips and aerial skills, set equipment weight limits, define footwear and cleaning, and address class capacity or substitute cover. A loose leg, torn mat, repeated loss of balance or unsuitable spacing should reduce capacity or stop use rather than be managed through verbal warning alone. The employer should also state who assembles each unit, whether socks or footwear rules apply and how balance aids are positioned without obstructing neighbouring rebounders.
Individually written and reviewed against the maintained role record.
