Day-to-day operating brief
What Grave Marker (Stone mason) work looks like in practice
A Grave Marker Stone Mason makes, repairs or installs smaller memorial stones and markers. The work combines workshop finishing with site measurement, foundations, lifting and cemetery access. Terms should identify permitted materials, approved drawings, inscription checks, fixing systems, weather limits, grave-location verification, machinery and restoration boundaries. The employee must not cut an inscription or begin installation from an informal instruction when the authorised wording or plot is uncertain. Foundation records should identify excavation depth, ground condition and the exact fixing components used. Where mowing or future settlement could affect a low marker, the installation plan should address finished level and drainage instead of relying only on how the stone appears on completion day. Loose spoil should be removed without covering nearby inscriptions or planting.
Individually written and reviewed against the maintained role record.
