Day-to-day operating brief
What Animator (Motion) work looks like in practice
An Animator creates movement, character performance or illustrative sequences for advertising, social, web and branded films. The role translates storyboards and direction into timed scenes, often working with voice, music and third-party artwork. Terms should define animation techniques, software, briefs, revision rounds, source-file ownership, render resources, asset licences, likeness restrictions, client feedback, portfolio use and archiving. Animation schedules should separate design approval, motion blocking, refinement, sound and final rendering because late conceptual changes have different cost from polish revisions. Reusable rigs and templates need clear naming and dependency records. Rendered approval files should be distinguishable from editable masters. Where motion could trigger discomfort or obscure essential information, the animator should apply accessibility guidance and provide an appropriate reduced-motion or static treatment.
