What Outdoor Buyer (Billboard) work looks like in practice
An Outdoor Media Buyer purchases billboard, transport, street-furniture and digital out-of-home inventory against an approved plan. The role evaluates location, audience movement, visibility, format and posting period while coordinating production deadlines. Terms should define territories, budgets, booking authority, media owners, site data, restrictions, artwork specifications, digital loops, cancellations, production costs, proof of posting, under-delivery and supplier incentives. Site selection should consider direction of travel, dwell time, illumination, competing clutter and whether the audience can safely read the proposed message. Production deadlines must allow artwork review and physical installation. Digital outdoor bookings need loop share, operating hours and outage reporting. Where local restrictions or landlord approvals apply, the buyer records the responsible party and does not infer permission from inventory appearing in a seller catalogue.
Individually written and reviewed against the maintained role record.
