What Recruitment Consultant (Agency) work looks like in practice
An agency Recruitment Consultant develops clients and candidates, qualifies vacancies, sources and screens applicants, arranges interviews and supports offers or assignments. The role mixes sales with sensitive personal data and representation of both employer requirements and candidate evidence. Terms should identify desk, sector and territory, permanent or temporary focus, candidate and account ownership, fee limits, targets, commission, guarantees and compliance handovers. Billing pressure should not encourage invented CV detail, unconsented submissions or premature clearance. A credible vacancy record connects the client's actual requirement, agreed terms, interview route and candidate-consent position. Advertising from a speculative description risks wasted applications and inaccurate representations about an opportunity that is not yet live.
Individually written and reviewed against the maintained role record.
