The Employee must perform Vocational Rehab Consultant (Return to Work) duties with reasonable skill, care and professionalism, including Assess patients, make clinical decisions and provide treatment, referral or follow-up within professional competence. Maintain accurate clinical records, prescribing records, referral information and correspondence in authorised systems. Prescribe, review or authorise medicines safely where the role permits and escalate medication or clinical concerns promptly.
The Employee must not disclose, copy, remove, misuse or access patient records, clinical notes, prescribing information, referral information, test results, special category health data except where authorised and necessary for proper vocational rehab consultant (return to work) work. Any suspected loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure must be reported promptly.
The Employee must follow the physiotherapy operational controls that apply to vocational rehab consultant (return to work) work, including GMC standards where applicable, clinical governance, patient safety, safeguarding escalation, data protection, accurate record keeping, escalation and safe working requirements.
The Employee must protect patient records, clinical notes, prescribing information, referral information, test results, special category health data and any related personal data, operational records, system access details or confidential information accessed while performing vocational rehab consultant (return to work) duties.
