What PPC Analyst (Campaign) work looks like in practice
A PPC Campaign Analyst examines paid-search structures, query data, bids, budgets, conversions and experiments to identify improvements across accounts or platforms. Unlike a platform specialist responsible for daily Google Ads operation, the analyst may focus on diagnosis, forecasting and cross-account insight. Terms should define data access, accounts, analytics, attribution, customer identifiers, scripts, model assumptions, testing, budget recommendations, reporting deadlines and authority to implement changes. Analytical comparisons should account for auction changes, seasonality, consent-mode effects and conversion lag before attributing movement to an optimisation. Query extracts may contain sensitive customer intent and require controlled use. Test plans need mutually exclusive populations where possible and a decision rule set before results. Recommendations should quantify likely benefit, implementation risk and how performance will be verified after change.
